Drum lessons
Similar to the bass guitar, the drums give any music a firm foundation. An amazing drummer will make any band sound better, and a lousy drummer will raise the eyebrows (not in a good way) of even the most non-musical people.
As with all of our lessons, we’ll first want to understand your goals and constraints. Where do you want to be with the drums in one, five, ten years from now? How much time each day will you realistically devote to practicing drums? What type of music do you like and what would you like to be able to play? Do you want to join a band?
We want you to be able to play your music. For some that will take weeks, others it will require years. Either way, we want to make sure you have a solid foundation. We emphasize good, safe technique so that you can enjoy playing drums for the rest of your life. Other important aspects of drums that we teach include:
- Crazy beats!
- Sticking patterns/rudiments
- Technique
- Ghost notes
- Role of drums in various band situations
- Rock, jazz, funk, rap, R&B
InTune Studios brings so much versatility and experience to the table. So fun and easy to work with, they’ll make learning your instrument a blast!
